1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Di Peppi website, mobile applications, B2B trade portal, and any orders you place with us (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Who we are
Di Peppi ("we", "us", "our") is a Lebanese premium gourmet delicacies company operating at www.dipeppi.com. You can reach us via WhatsApp on +961 71 521 714.
3. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Lebanon to place an order. By creating an account you confirm the information you provide is accurate and current. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
B2B trade accounts are subject to verification of your MOF number, VAT registration, and business documentation. We reserve the right to approve, decline, or revoke B2B access at our sole discretion.
4. Products & availability
We sell fresh, frozen, and prepared seafood and grocery items. Photos are illustrative; actual product appearance, size, and weight may vary. We make reasonable efforts to keep stock and pricing accurate, but availability is not guaranteed until your order is confirmed.
Certain items are sold by weight (per kilogram). The price displayed at checkout for these items is an estimate based on the requested quantity; the final price is calculated from the actual weight at the time of preparation and confirmed on your delivery receipt.
5. Pricing & currency
Prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD) and are inclusive of applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. Where permitted, you may settle in Lebanese Pounds (LBP) at the exchange rate published at checkout or on your invoice.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Once an order is confirmed, the price stated on the order is the price you owe, except for items priced by weight as described in section 4.
6. Orders & acceptance
Placing an order through the Services constitutes an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline any order at our discretion, including where stock is unavailable, the delivery address is outside our coverage area, the order appears fraudulent, or the price was displayed in error. If we decline an order after payment was taken, we will refund the amount paid using the same method.
7. Payment
We currently accept the following payment methods:
- Prepaid Di Peppi wallet balance
- Cash on delivery
- Whish Money transfer (you reference your order number when transferring)
If payment confirmation is required — for example a Whish transfer — your order will remain in "Pending Payment Verification" status until we confirm receipt. We typically confirm within one business hour during operating hours.
8. Delivery
We deliver within our published coverage area in Lebanon. Delivery is next-day where available; we do not deliver on Sundays or public Lebanese holidays. Delivery windows are best-effort and may be affected by traffic, weather, security conditions, or supplier delays.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If no one is available to receive the order at the address provided, we may attempt redelivery or return the order to our facility — additional fees may apply.
9. Cancellation & refunds
Cancellation and refund terms are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information
- Resell our products outside of an authorized B2B trade arrangement
- Attempt to access, probe, or disrupt our systems, accounts, or data
- Scrape, copy, or reuse Site content or images without our written permission
11. Intellectual property
The Di Peppi name, logo, copy, and Site design are owned by Di Peppi or licensed to us. You may not use these materials for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Lebanese law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of profit or business interruption.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer-protection law, including liability for personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.
13. Privacy
Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Material changes will be communicated to you via the Site or email where required. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Lebanese Republic. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Beirut, Lebanon, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under Lebanese Law No. 659/2005 (Consumer Protection) or its successor legislation.
